A
Bylaw to fix the Village of Montrose Sewer Rental Rates.
WHEREAS
it is deemed expedient to revise the sewer rental rates;
NOW
THEREFORE, the Council of the Village of Montrose, in open meeting assembled,
enacts as follows:
1. DELETION: Schedule "A" of Bylaw 128 as amended by Bylaw 534.
2. ADDITION: Insert the following as Schedule "A" of Bylaw 128
There
shall be levied against every household or business premises a sewer rate as
follows:
DESCRIPTION YEARLY
RATES
Each building used or occupied solely as a single
residential unit ........ 168.00
Each additional residential unit
.............................................................. 168.00
Each
building used or occupied solely for business purposes and that
contains no residential units
.................................................................. 200.00
Each
building used or occupied solely for business purposes and that
contains one (1) residential unit
............................................................ 368.00
Each additional residential unit
............................................................. 168.00
Car Wash

School...............................................................
610.00
Post Office
................................................................................
.. 200.00
3. The rates herein shall become effective
the first day of January, 2000.
4. Bylaw 534 is hereby repealed effective
the first day of January, 2000.
5. If any section, subsection, sentence,
clause or phrase of this bylaw is for any reason
held to be invalid by the decision of any court of competent jurisdiction, the invalid portion shall be severed
and the part this is invalid shall not affect the validity of the remainder.
6. This Bylaw shall be known and cited for
all purposes as the
"Sewer Rates Amendment
Bylaw.
