A Special Meeting of the Council of the Village of Montrose held in the council chambers on May 13, 1998, for the purpose of adopting budget and tax rate bylaws.

Call to Order

Mayor Walsh called the meeting to order at 1:45 PM.

Bylaws

#528 Moved by Councillor Stone

Seconded by Councillor Clarke

That Bylaw #528, cited as the “1998 Annual Operating Budget Bylaw”, having been reconsidered and having met all prerequisites for final adoption, be now finally adopted, sealed and signed by the Mayor and the Clerk.

#527 Moved by Councillor Clarke

Seconded by Councillor Stone

That Bylaw #527, cited as the “1998 Property Tax Rate Bylaw”, having been reconsidered and having met all prerequisites for final adoption, be now finally adopted, sealed and signed by the Mayor and the Clerk.

#529 Moved by Councillor Stone

Seconded by Councillor Clarke

That Bylaw #529, cited as the “1998-2007 Capital Program Bylaw”, having been reconsidered and having met all prerequisites for final adoption, be now finally adopted, sealed and signed by the Mayor and the Clerk.
