BYLAW #581

A BYLAW TO ESTABLISH POTABLE WATER USER RATES

FOR THE YEAR 2002

WHEREAS the Village’s Financial Plan calls for an increase in water user rates for the purpose of reducing the subsidy from the General Operating Fund to the Water Operating Fund,

BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED that the Council of the Village of Montrose in open meeting assembled, enact as follows:

SHORT TITLE

1. (1) This Bylaw may be cited as the "2002 Water User Rate Bylaw."

AMENDMENT

2. (1) Schedule "A" of Bylaw #135 is hereby deleted and replaced with Schedule "A" attached to, and forming part of this Bylaw.

ENACTMENT

3. (1) If any section, subsection, sentence, clause or phrase of this bylaw is for any reason held to be invalid by the decision of any court of competent jurisdiction, the invalid portion shall be severed and the part that is invalid shall not affect the validity of the remainder.

(2) This Bylaw shall come into full force and effect on January 1, 2002.

and that contains one (1) residential unit 414.00

5. Each additional residential unit 198.00

6. Car Wash 592.00

7. School 794.00

8. Post Office 216.00
